It has been some time since we last sat back and reviewed the direction in which we are heading. We've spent the past 2-3 years leaping from one exciting opportunity to the next and amongst plenty of rapid change, we are confident that our professionalism and value proposition to our partners has continued to improve.

Leaping from opportunity to opportunity can be scary, especially for a start-up company. A little over 6 months ago we established Beacon HQ, Elliot went full time with the company and we've continued to build a solid portfolio of projects.

The slow and steady so far has treated us well. BUT - we are now running very quickly and have ambitions to continue to enhance the value we provide to our partners and emerge as a leading organisation in what we do.

This will be the first of many posts, talking through the results of our recent strategic planning process to help communicate to our partners, current and prospective, that we have a dedicated focus on improving our services.

So without further delay, our 2020 vision, our mission and values:

In short, by 2020 we'll be an emerging leader amongst our competitors with a sustainable position in the market.  We will continue to commit to supporting social purpose organisations to plan, design and evaluate their projects and services in line with our values.

So how will we do this?

Over the coming three years, we'll be striving to grow our capability, build our team and extend our reach. We'll post more detailed information about each of our strategic priorities over the coming months and give some insight into the programs of work that we'll be tackling.

The wheels are in motion on our journey to achieve our vision and it looks as though we will be moving relatively quickly to expand our team in the not too distant future. In the meantime, we are focused on continuing to build the foundations of our practice with a focus on quality and impact.

We will keep you posted on our progress!

Cheers,

Mitch and Elliot
