How do we support PHNs?

Our team understands the important role that PHNs play at a regional level to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of health services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes, and improve coordination of care to ensure patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.

As a mission-based health and social services consultancy, Beacon Strategies is committed to partnering with PHNs to better plan, design, implement, evaluate and communicate their work in delivering health outcomes for local communities.

Over several years, we have worked with PHNs across Australia to guide and support their work at various stages in the commissioning cycle to improve health outcomes, tackle health disparities, address service gaps and support the primary care workforce across areas such as mental health and suicide prevention, aged care, palliative care, alcohol and other drugs, chronic disease and population health.
